The joint congress of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) in Munich, Germany was probably the largest truly international scientific meeting concerned with allergy and related areas, with an attendance of over 6,000 professionals.
The volume, published as a supplement to ACI International - Journal of the World Allergy Organization, contains abstracts of more than 1,600 papers presented at the Congress.
