The Congress of the World Allergy Organization (WAO/IAACI) is probably the largest truly international scientific meeting concerned with allergy and related areas. Taking place in Vancouver, Canada in September 2003, the Congress featured more than 800 papers which were presented either orally during the Free Communications sessions (ca. 120) or in poster form. This volume, which appeared at the Congress, contains the abstracts of all these papers, and is complete with a full author and keyword index. It is thus a useful reference for all those unable to attend the Congress and a valuable resource for medical and pharmaceutical researchers.
